A gallbladder cleansing diet can be helpful in relieving the symptoms of the gallbladder, and it can certainly help you avoid further complications. People who suffer from gallbladder disease are advised to try this diet plan. If you don’t suffer from gallbladder disease, but you have a history family of gallstones (or other gallbladder-related problems), you can try this diet plan. Of course, nothing should be done without talking to your doctor first.

A gallbladder cleansing diet lasts for a week (in most patients). It seems to be quite effective, especially when it comes to removing fats, cholesterol, and other toxins from the body. This method is usually used once or twice a year.

You should start with the diet early in the spring – that is considered the best time. However, you can start anytime. The most important thing is to follow your doctor’s instructions.   • Bell peppers, celery, carrots, tomatoes, mustard greens, cucumbers, and beets should be included in your diet. You can make great salads using some of these vegetables, but you should not mix more than five different vegetables.
  • You can use olive oil, but don’t exaggerate! Remember, this diet should be low in fats and oils.
  • Drink natural juices and avoid carbonated beverages, caffeine, and alcohol.

There are several gallbladder-cleansing methods. Before you decide to use any of these, you have to consult your doctor. Keep in mind that different disorders have to be treated with different types of remedies. One treatment method may be effective in one type of gallbladder disorder, but it can be completely ineffective in treating some other gallbladder problem.

Here are several home remedies that are commonly used in gallbladder cleansing:

  • A combination of carrot juice, cucumber juice, and beets juice makes a great home remedy for the gallbladder. You should use 100 milliliters of each. This mixture is taken once or twice a day.
  • Chicory seeds, flowers, and roots are also effective in relieving the symptoms of a gallbladder. In most cases, this decoration is used several times a day. This will also be good for your liver.
  • You can consume fresh pears, or you can make juices. Take this juice fresh, once or twice a day.
  • Olive oil is considered a good remedy for gallstones. Take it in the morning, before you eat anything. After taking olive oil, drink some natural grapefruit juice. This remedy is usually used for one or two weeks. Olive oil can also be used for salads and all kinds of dishes.
  • Castor oil is another remedy used in gallbladder cleansing. This oil is applied directly to the abdomen.
